Alex Hales: Nottinghamshire batsman signs new two-year white-ball contract

England international Alex Hales has already signed a new two-year agreement to signify Nottinghamshire from white-ball cricket before this 2021 season’s conclusion.
The batsman, who’s played with cricket to the county returned to the Notts fold in May after he served as a 21-day ban from cricket for recreational drug use.
Hales was pulled from all of England’s squads following his ban but also has scored 283 runs since his reintegration to his county squad, hitting three fifties for the Outlaws to help them attain the quarter-finals of their Vitality Blast in their last-eight match against Middlesex is going to be live on Sky Sports The Ashes from 7pm on Thursday, September 5.
“Notts is like home to me today,” Hales said. “I could not actually envisage playing anywhere else. I have made some excellent memories here and there’s many more to come.
“After a tough start to summer time, everybody at the club was brilliant . I want to settle the faith they have shown and that will continue to function as my goal for at least the next two decades.”
Hales has struck 41 fifties and 11 centuries since he arrived at Notts and has gathered accumulated 6,415 runs in white-ball cricket.
He will join Barbados Tridents at the Caribbean Premier League, which starts reside on Sky Sports The Ashes from 12.30am on Thursday, September 5, following Notts’ Blast semi-final.
“Alex is a highly sought-after white-ball cricketer right around the globe,” said director of cricket Mick Newell. “He has given several match-winning performances for us down the last few years and we’re looking for this to continue”
